CORE FEATURES
Blackbutt
High Structural Density
With a Janka hardness rating of 9.1, Blackbutt is highly resilient against surface scratching, making it perfect for kids, pets, and heavy entertainment wear.
Straight, Uniform Grain
Blackbutt is famous for its exceptionally straight structural grain, giving your deck clean, crisp lines that perfectly suit modern linear architecture.
BAL-29 Fire Rated
Just like Spotted Gum, Blackbutt is recognized by Australian authorities as a designated bushfire-resisting timber, offering premium safety without chemical treatments.
Superior Oil Absorption
Because of its straight grain, Blackbutt accepts oils, tints, and clear stains incredibly well, allowing you to perfectly control or preserve its blonde color.
Class 1 Longevity
Engineered by nature to survive the harsh Australian climate, this native hardwood boasts premium natural resistance to rot, termites, and weather decay.
The Coastal Standard
Its light color profile means the deck absorbs significantly less heat from the summer sun compared to dark timbers, keeping it cooler underfoot on blistering days.
